Fundraising

Minnesota Select has a variety of different fundraising opportunities available for families to help defer some of  the season fees. Each family is encouraged to fundraise as little or as much as they desire. We have a number of fundraisers throughout the  season such as: Ralia concessions, Butter Braid sales, Poinsettia sales, and mentoring of our younger teams. The funds raised are directly applied toward the family's dues.

Mentoring Program

This program has two focuses:

  1.  To provide our younger athletes an enhanced experience through the time and efforts of our older athletes, young women with whom they can identify. An enhanced experience can only be accomplished through direct interaction between the mentors and the younger athletes.
  2. To provide a source of fundraising to older players ($TBD stipend) who are in need of financial assistance. If you are not in need of financial assistance but would still like to participate in this program, please indicate that you would like to volunteer in the blank provided. Note: Volunteering in this program could be an effective way of obtaining NHS service hours.

Please Note: Only a very small number of paid mentoring opportunities for our YDTs are available. We cannot guarantee an opportunity to all applicants. There will be other opportunities to mentor throughout the year. For instance, we are considering conducting youth clinics during the weeks are JO teams are on break throughout the season. Also, as we have in the past we will have spring, summer, and fall programs in which you may be able to assist.

Ralia Concessions

Earn money for your season while working at Ralia Sports Center. Schedules will be created monthly. Once completed, workers will be emailed their work schedule. We anticipate completing each month's schedule in the final 1-2 weeks of the previous month. Have other questions? Contact Rhonda Doyle at 763-391-6660 x11, email: RhondaDoyle@raliasportscenter.com
